Dad,

It has been a great week. On Saturday, Jason had his baptism which was
a really neat experience! it has been fun to see him learn and grow
and really take the gospel into his life. We have been teaching him
for just over a month and he has always kept his commitments and has
always been willing to learn and to grow. He is 19 years old and at
one point had wanted to go into the military as a marine but he has
recently been thinking about serving a mission for the Church. During
fast and testimony meeting he got up and shared  his testimony and it
was very powerful. A lot of the ward is very excited and has done well
in fellowshipping him and helping him feel good as he comes to church.
I will make sure to send pictures to you.

This past week, we finished up all of the zone conferences for the
entire mission. It has been fun going from conference to conference
and continuing to get to know the missionaries better. This round of
zone conferences, we talked about people and the importance of listening to our
investigators. We got a lot of positive feedback and hope that it will
help the missionaries to be better teachers and listeners to both the
investigators and to the spirit. This coming week, we will have lots of
meetings including some half mission conferences tomorrow, departing
temple trip on Wednesday,y MLC on Thursday and return report on Friday.
That should keep us pretty busy during our week

It sounds like you had a fun trip for the father and sons outing. I
remember those days and they were a lot of fun. That is crazy to hear
that Kayla has already finished finals for this semester. I feel as if
she just got home from her mission a couple of weeks ago. Is she
planning to work for the summer up in Logan? I think that would make
the most sense. Yes, our new mission president will be president David
Huntsman. It will also be weird because I will only be here for one
transfer while he is the mission president. I feel like I have gotten
to know President Riggs really well so it will be strange to have a
new mission president right at the end. I am excited to meet him
though and can't wait to see the direction he takes the mission.

President Riggs has also given me permission to apply for school and
to take care of those needs as they come. Are there any suggestions or
tips in terms of preparing to apply for school? I am hoping to start
in the fall semester coming up because I want to continue to move
forward and not have too long of a down. I am hoping that it will be
possible for me to apply before that time. Also, for this upcoming Sunday, my companions and I need to sit down and plan for when we want
to Skype. With the mission office having Wi-Fi capabilities, it might
make sense to do it here. Once I have figured out a time, I will let
you know so that you can be prepared for that. I am excited to hear
from you and to talk with you all.

That's all for me this week I love you and hope you have a great week be safe.

Austin
