Nana Yaa Wadie baptism
Hey Everyone!
This week we had Nana's baptism! I will never look at a baptism the same way. It feels so good to see people change and to choose to follow Christ in their life. She was so happy and had a big smile on her face. Even yesterday ay church everyone was so happy for her and her smile was priceless. Those are the moments I guess you will never forget. All those snowy and cold bike rides made it worth it for me and for her. I am so blessed to be a part of the hastening of the Lord's work.
We met a man yesterday who also came to church. He has had a hard life. He had been hit by a bus, lost his leg, shot 4 times and was convicted to serve in jail for 20 years but only had to serve for 8 years and 8 months. And he is 32 years old. The man is the most humble man I have met on my mission. He wants to follow Jesus Christ and learn who He is. I am so proud to be able to help him and show him how much happiness he can have.
The Phoenix Open was last week. I miss playing golf a lot. That will be something I want to practice when I return. Six months on the 7th. I guess time does fly?! I love you and I hope you have a great week!
Love,
Elder Westover
